Terms and conditions
When you enroll, you agree to these terms. Some look strict — they follow Motorcycle Safety Foundation and Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation rules that we're required to enforce.
No refunds of any kind once your registration is submitted.
If you need to change your date, email us at least 48 hours before either class. Registrations are non-transferable.
Attendance and tuition
- If you do not show up for your class, you have forfeited your tuition.
- If you are late, or miss any segment of the course, you may forfeit your tuition.
- If you do not finish the eCourse, you may forfeit your tuition.
- If you do not bring the correct riding gear, you may forfeit your tuition.
- You must pass a riding evaluation to receive a completion certificate.
If you are under 18 years of age, you must bring a parent or guardian to the first day of class to sign waivers.
Weather
We normally ride rain or shine. Inclement weather may delay or extend class time, and the schedule will be adjusted at the discretion of the RiderCoach to keep the learning environment safe. Whether or not to continue is at the sole discretion of the RiderCoach.
Course non-completion
You may be counseled out of the class by your RiderCoach if you have not been able to achieve the objectives of the range exercises, for either of the following reasons:
- You have exceeded the allotted learning time and have not demonstrated the skills needed to continue.
- You have failed to abide by course safety guidelines provided by your RiderCoach, or your RiderCoach decides you may be a danger to yourself or others.
If either situation occurs, you may forfeit the entire course fee.
Non-transferable registration
Your registration is non-transferable and cannot be assigned to another person.
Release and waiver of indemnification
As the participant — and the parent or legal guardian, if the participant is under 18 years of age — you execute this release, waiver and indemnification for yourself and your heirs, successors, representatives and assigns, and agree and represent as follows.
To release Awesome Riding and its landlord (West Oaks Mall), landowners, members, employees, agents and representatives, together with those governmental agencies and other organizations affiliated with this course — including but not limited to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) — and to hold them harmless for any liability, loss, damage, cost, claim, judgment or settlement which may be brought or entered against them as a result of participation in the course.
You understand that there are risks involved in learning the skills necessary to operate a motorcycle, and you accept those risks. You agree that additional waivers will be signed at the start of class: the MSF Liability Waiver and the TDLR Student Information Form.
By registering for a course with Awesome Riding, you confirm that you have carefully read this release and that you automatically and voluntarily agree to these terms and conditions as your own free act.
